Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)

A contract that legally binds a person to keep your confidential information private — a baseline protection for any external or remote hire.

A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) legally obligates someone to keep your confidential information — code, data, plans, customer details — private. It is the baseline protection you put in place before sharing anything sensitive with a new hire or partner.

For cross-border remote hiring, an NDA needs to be enforceable in the jurisdiction where the person works. Managed-team and EOR models handle this as standard, pairing NDAs with IP assignment so both confidentiality and ownership are covered.
